This little man turned two last week. He talked about his birthday with anticipation for weeks leading up to it ("i turn two. I blow out candles on basketball cake."), and is still talking about blowing out his candles today. Here he is sitting in his birthday "thinking chair" (from Blues Clues) with his notebook, crayon and blue dog! It is a sad day if one of these items is missing.

Despite the crowd that joined us to celebrate, Spencer spent most of his time throwing his baseball and chasing it all over the park.
Some of the crowd of awesome friends! We discovered that last year we had 5 children at Spencer's party, and that this year that number had grown to 12.
(14 if you count the two making their debut in June.)

It was a great day! Best of all, the rain waited until we got home!

What is that awesome skirt I am wearing? :) Happy birhtday Spence! We need to keep this park party tradition going! Maybe next year we will have 30 kids! ha.
